Four Square Fine Arts began working with Last Bus in 2008 to create a series of short interview based artist profiles. Four Square Films focus on artists in their own words and from the second film are supported by insightful footage of studio processes.
The aim of these films is to contribute to a broader understanding of contemporary art practice, whilst stimulating questions about the creative process, nurturing new dialogues between artists, students and art lovers.
We also look forward to including them as a valuable resource within our unfolding educational program. To find out more about this program click here.
Our Education programme has now become a not for profit Community Interest Company.

Linda Felcey studied Fine Art at Grimsby School of Art and Kingston University. Having spent many years teaching art at Higher Education level and raising three children she has returned to painting full time. Linda paints in the fine art tradition with oils on linen canvas her works combining figurative and abstract elements inspired by a sense of place and environment. Fascinated by the wild, uncultivated areas of her rambling garden, ditches, hedgerows and flooded woodland pools, Felcey paints according to the seasons. She works mainly en plein air and in the studio if its too wet, a shepherd’s hut immersed in a classic old English orchard near Glynde in Sussex surrounded by Willow and Poplar trees and natural wildlife.
