Odelle Morshuis

Odelle Morshuis spent a number of years working from her studio in Wimbledon and establishing a successful career in the UK. Following the completion of an MA in 2004 at Wimbledon Art School she returned to her native New Zealand to continue her work. We are very pleased to have a selection of her most recent work, which will be shown at the forthcoming Affordable Art Fair 15th –19th March.

Odelle’s exploration of man’s relationship to the landscape has continued but with new media incorporating layers of perspex and board. Figures are reflected on to a background creating shadows which gives a three dimensionality to her work not possible on flat canvas. Light plays a large part in the pieces with figures appearing and disappearing creating an image full of change and movement.
