Purchasing artwork

Four Square Fine Arts promotes the work of around thirty fine and applied artists at any one time. We also have access to artists who may not appear on the website but whom we can approach about a specific commission or one-off project.

Viewing at home or in the office

If you are not able to come to a show or to the gallery we can arrange a meeting for you to view our extensive database of images on our laptop computer. Combined with our knowledge of how a particular artist works and a down-to-earth friendly approach, we can quickly identify whose work you respond to within the parameters of your budget and any other requirements you may have. We can then arrange for you to view a range of artwork at your home or office and if appropriate visit the artist in their studio. Once you have chosen a piece of artwork then we can arrange for it to be hung and give advice about looking after it.

Commissioning

Many of the artists we represent can be commissioned to create a specific piece of artwork. Often this is because a particular size is required to fit a space. An initial deposit of 50% is taken with the balance being paid on delivery. It is necessary to allow around 10-12 weeks for a commission to be completed.

Payment

Payments can be made by cheque, bank transfer, Switch, Visa or MasterCard. Items can also be paid for by interest-free instalments by special arrangement. We do not currently offer payment facilities over the internet as we find that most of our clients prefer to discuss details about an artist or a particular piece of artwork either in person or in a telephone conversation.
