Four Square Films
Four Square Fine Arts began working with Last Bus in 2008 to create a series of short interview based artist profiles. Four Square Films focus on artists in their own words and from the second film are supported by insightful footage of studio processes.
The aim of these films is to contribute to a broader understanding of contemporary art practice, whilst stimulating questions about the creative process, nurturing new dialogues between artists, students and art lovers.
We also look forward to including them as a valuable resource within our unfolding educational program. To find out more about this program click here.

Bird Sculpture Lightbox – Eberhard Ross
The catalyst for this project was our client’s initial response to the scale and fluid dynamic of Eberhard Ross’ Starling Swarm paintings. Undertaking a complete refurbishment of his central London home, he was looking for a signature piece to hang on an external wall, that would give a dynamic point of focus through a glass wall, descending the stairs to the lower level.
Our client envisioned translating one of Eberhard’s swarm drawings into a sculptural lightbox measuring approx 300cm x 400cm.
The project presented numerous challenges in design and prefabrication,and we were extremely fortunate to team up with Standard 8 specialists in exhibitions and metal prefabrication
